Accessibility statement
How Teethmocure is built to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards and magnification.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Our commitment
Teethmocure (operated by Lyffem Int. Ltd.) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe that every person should be able to browse our products, place an order, and manage their account with ease, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Our target
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a build requirement rather than something added at the end: every page is checked before it ships. We use a combination of automated testing, manual review, and assistive technology testing to verify compliance.
What we do
Specific commitments, each of which is verified automatically as part of our test suite:
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and a skip link is the first thing you reach
- Focus indicators are always visible and never removed
- Text and interface colours are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Interactive controls are at least 44 by 44 pixels to provide comfortable touch and click targets
- Meaning is never carried by colour alone — status is always spelled out in text
- Animation is subtle and switches off entirely when your system asks for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion)
- Meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
- Forms have visible labels, not placeholder-only labels, and validation errors are announced to assistive technology
- The page reflows and remains usable when zoomed up to 200%
- Semantic HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists, nav, main, footer) are used correctly so that screen readers can navigate the page structure
- ARIA attributes are used sparingly and correctly — only where native HTML semantics are insufficient
- The site uses a logical heading hierarchy with a single h1 per page
- Link text is descriptive and makes sense out of context — we avoid "click here" or "read more" without context
- The site is responsive and adapts to different screen sizes, orientations, and zoom levels
Assistive technologies we test with
We regularly test the site with the following assistive technologies and browsers:
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation in all major browsers
- Browser zoom up to 200% in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge
- High-contrast and dark mode settings at the operating system level
Known limitations
Automated testing catches a great deal but not everything, and some areas of the site are still being built. We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Some older pages or third-party embedded content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA
- PDF documents, if any, may not be fully accessible — we are working to provide accessible alternatives
- Real-time status updates (such as order tracking) may not always be announced immediately by all screen readers
Known limitations (continued)
If you hit something that does not work for you, we want to know — that report is more useful to us than any audit. We prioritise accessibility fixes as high-severity issues and aim to resolve reported problems promptly.
Tell us about a problem
We genuinely want to hear from you if you encounter any accessibility barrier on our site. Contact us by any of the following routes:
- Email: teethmocure@gmail.com
- Phone / WhatsApp: +234 810 081 6174
- Contact form: www.teethmocure.com/contact
Tell us about a problem (continued)
When you report an issue, it helps us enormously if you can describe what you were trying to do, what got in the way, and which assistive technology or browser you were using. We will acknowledge your report within two (2) business days and provide an estimated timeline for a fix. We will reply, and we will fix it.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review the site as new features are added and as web accessibility standards evolve. This statement is updated at each release to reflect the current state of the site.
